When a DLC is released, the DLC is entitled to free updates / upgrades / reworks during the lifecycle of that DLC for 3 years.

When a DLC exits the end of support cycle, the product will continue to work in the versions of Trainz it was tested against, and you’ll continue to have access to the said product however no updates / upgrades / reworks will be provided, and tech support will be limited.

There might be times, however, that DLC might have extended support for an extra year of support to make sure things run as smooth as possible. This will be viewed case by case.

Note: if an update has been submitted and N3V has delayed it until it passes the posted end of support date, the update will still be processed but the DLC product won’t be supported.

Examples of extended support:

– Updates / upgrades / reworks being performed 30 days prior to end of support

– Being tested against a newer version of Trainz 30 days prior to end of support

– A service pack / hotfix broke the DLC 30 days prior to end of support
