RESKINS AND PERMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESKIN RELEASES:
Reskinning is permitted for personal use only and may not leave your computer hard drive for any purpose except for backing up your personal reskins. As of 19 September 2024, all new reskin releases will require direct permission from Hiawathamr Trainz Add-ons (contact details on “Contact Us”).

Upon contacting for permission, a minimum of 4 screenshots will be required with your permission message. These should show off the front, the sides, and the rear. You are more than welcomed to attach additional images and optionally attach the .cdp file along with your message. Do keep in mind that Hiawathamr Trainz Add-ons (like many other creators) isn’t obligated to approve your reskin for release, so if your release permission is declined, you must respect that decision.

Note that if you received direct permission from SRS Trainz before the ownership transfer happened (19 September 2024), all your current released reskins will be grandfathered under those original permission terms.
 
REHOSTING CONTENT:
Except for reskins released with permission, rehosting any of the SRS Trainz content isn’t permitted and once discovered, will have copyright takedowns issued.

If a piece of content has been removed, there is a reason for the removal of that piece of content and therefore does not grant you permission to rehost said removed content.

CONTENT CONVERSION TO MOBILE:
Converting the SRS Trainz content for mobile versions isn’t permitted and is considered pirating. Any content deemed appropriate for mobile will be released via the official content downloader in-game.

USED IN PAYWARE ROUTES / SESSIONS:
Usage for payware content is permitted provided its referenced to this website for obtaining the dependencies. Including in an actual payware package is not permitted.

UPDATES:
From time to time, these terms, the website, or content may receive updates with or without notice given. It will be your responsibility to check often.

WARRANTY:
All content hosted are provided “as-is” without any kind of warranty. You assume all risks the content may cause to your system.
